Climatic conditions were favorable for the survival and distribution of malaria over: Afar (Zone 2 and 3), Amhara (N.Gonder, eastern border of N & S Wello, W.Gojjam,tip of Northern Shewa and Agew), Beni.Gumuz (Metekel, Assosa, Kamashi) , Oromia (all welega zones, W& E.shewa, Illubabor, Jimma, E. Harerge, Arsi, Tongo) , SNNPR (Sheka, Keffa, Bench Maji, Dawuro, Alaba.SW, Welayta , Selti, Basketo, yem, Hadiya, Gedeo,South Omo,Sidama), Gambela (All zones), D/dawa and Harer of the country during September 2022.
